Harmony Youth is a ministry of Harmony Church.

We have an exciting and organic youth ministry. Our desire is to see young people meet with God and experience spiritual growth in community.
If you are high school age and like fun, food and friendship, then this is the place to be!

We want to see young people enjoy their high school years and build a great foundation to launch themselves into adult life. We are partnering with Ao Tawhiti, a special character state school based in Christchurch’s CBD.

Our two 24-7 youth workers spend 10 hours per week in the school environment, working directly with youth of all backgrounds, beliefs and genders.

Young New Zealanders need more time spent with them. They need more listening, more encouraging and more “hanging in there”. More people who can be there for them. It requires an approach based on relationships not programmes. It encompasses role modelling, being accessible to young people and being around to help young people make good choices.
